What's inside
Six stages
Strong hands → letters of my name → tracing → copying → less help → confidence.
Ready-to-move-on signs
No guessing. Each stage tells you what to look for before moving on.
Playful, not drills
Playdough, sand trays, sticky notes and shaving foam do a lot of the work.
When to ask for help
Gentle, non-alarming notes on when to mention it to your pediatrician.
Made for you if…
- ✓ Your 4–5 year old is starting school in the next 6–12 months
- ✓ Pencil time currently ends in tears
- ✓ You want a plan, not more worksheets
Questions parents ask
My child holds the pencil in a fist. Is that a problem?
It's very common at 4. Stage 1 builds the hand strength that makes a better grip possible on its own. If you're worried, mention it at your next checkup.
